Agree, but the market was even less impressed by FN/GOLD

Long-term debt: NEM has about $1.1B, BMG has $180M, new total= $1.28B

Another liability - I expect NEM to buy back the 2.3 million shares of BMGpfd
so they won't have to pay the $3.25 dividend. That would take about $75-100M ??

The pfd is up 30%, much better than the common:
