I'm not going to try to nail down precise definitions of code words that mean different things to different groups. My favorite phrase for the American dream is Melting Pot. One group blends into another. Attempts to preserve clear distinctions of culture range from the curious like the Amish to the scarey like the Scientoligists. Much better is the vast majority of people in the country who have their roots, and cousins of slightly different roots and culture, and neighbors that are unique in their way. TP
