San Francisco Giants Launch Double Play Ticket Window
First-of-Its-Kind Service Enables Charter Seat Holders to Resell Their Tickets via the Internet at sfgiants.com

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2000--The San Francisco Giants today introduced the Double Play Ticket Window, making them the first professional sports team to create a service designed to help premium season ticketholders resell their tickets to fans interested in purchasing the best ballpark seat locations.

``We are delighted to offer this service to our Charter Seat Holders as it will enable them to use their tickets in the most efficient manner,'' said Larry Baer, Giants' executive vice president and chief operating officer. ``Given the scarcity of tickets available for the 2000 season, the Double Play Ticket Window also gives us the ability to have as many people as possible visit and enjoy the new ballpark.''

In a joint venture with Pandesic, Ignite Sports Media and Tickets.com, the Giants utilized newly developed technology to create an internet-based program that enables Charter Seat Holders to post their tickets for resale at sfgiants.com, the official web site of the San Francisco Giants. Charter Seat License Holders own the rights to the best 15,000 seats at Pacific Bell Park.

The program creates a safe, protected and convenient marketplace in which to resell tickets and eliminates the hassle of exchanging tickets and money. It also provides for a safe and protected venue for individuals interested in purchasing prime seat locations at Pacific Bell Park.

Highlights of the Double Play Ticket Window

-- Charter Seat Holders who wish to resell their tickets and
parking passes for future games can access the Double Play
Ticket window through sfgiants.com.

-- Sellers may post tickets for sale for no less than the face
value of the ticket. There is no upper limit on the price that
may be placed on an offer.

-- Buyers can access the Double Play Ticket Window through
sfgiants.com where they will be able browse and purchase
inventory posted.

-- Once the transaction is complete, the original ticket will be
voided electronically and a new ticket will be issued to the
buyer or made available for pick up through the Giants
automated will call system. This eliminates the risk and
hassle associated with exchanging paper tickets and money.

Double Play Ticket Window Partners

The Double Play Ticket Window is a product of a partnership between the Giants, Pandesic, Tickets.com and Ignite Sports Media. Pandesic serves as the e-commerce platform for the Giants and provides the system that enables the Giants to conduct business transactions over the internet. Tickets.com provides the ticketing engine that facilitates all Giants ticket sales and distribution via retail store outlets, phones, internet, IVR and automated ticketing kiosks. Ignite Sports Media produces and hosts the Giants website, sfgiants.com. Through this joint effort, Giants tickets may now be purchased through the Double Play Ticket Window on sfgiants.com.

About the San Francisco Giants

Major league baseball came to San Francisco back in 1958 with the arrival of the Giants from New York. Showcasing such legendary names as John McGraw, Willie Mays and Willie McCovey throughout their rich history, the Giants boast the ``winningest'' record ever among National League teams -- second only to the New York Yankees in all of baseball. The New York-San Francisco franchise has produced more members of the Baseball Hall of Fame than any other team in the Major League. A new era of Giants baseball began in 1992, when a group of civic-minded San Franciscans headed by Peter A. Magowan purchased the 115-year-old Major League franchise. Since then, the San Francisco Giants have been committed to standing for innovation, professionalism, and excellence on and off the field. The Giants are dedicated to serving their customers, providing a high quality entertainment experience, and enhancing its value as a community asset. Pacific Bell Park is a shining testimonial of the organization's commitment to give Giants fans the best team and the best ballpark for the 21st Century.

Frank re <<That is obvious from your reply. Reductio ad absurdum is seldom an argument that sounds very good.>>

You seem mad and frustrated at something.

I made sincere and polite post as to why I think the investment gain by Intel is neither good news or bad. Sorry if you did not like it.

I am shocked why this is a hard concept your some of you to comprehend! Intel sold some of its stock earlier than it had said it would do, how is that good news. Intel's holding in these stock is public information, it is not a secret. The only question is when they sell them, unless you think the timing on the sales where particulary good, then it is not good news.

I am done, go ahead and have the last world, I am sure it will be insightful.
