I'm not doing TA, although I look at it, but I see what others are thinking on a lot of boards and newsletters (which is why I like this board so much!), what the newsletters are saying (I check about four a day, like Thompson I watch) but mainly I watch prices on a few key stocks quarter point by quarter point, and one can really get a feel from that about strenght and weakness in the market.

I thought we would sell this am if we went up yesterday, because that is the way the market has been since May 30, a see saw back and forth with a moderate up trend. We have had five good days now so we are due for a pull back, and if the market trend continues we will see some upward pressure tommorrow after today's sell off. I am strictly talking about the Nasdaq, I don't trade on the Dow.

I probably won't be back til later because I need to watch prices the rest of the day.

Welcome Peter and michael! I am trying to do a little daytrading while developing a website so am bussier than a "one armed paper hanger". I will pop in to publish theories of the "cosmos" as time permits, so far you guys have been doing very well...keep up the good work. I have only made one post today.
