Marcel, either Don misquoted, or CNET.com revised their story after first putting it on the Web. If you take a look at the link now: news.cnet.com you'll see that the last sentence reads: "Shares of Mountain View, Calif.-based Rambus rose 9.5 percent Monday, after analysts predicted NEC and Hitachi would join Toshiba in agreeing to pay royalties for use of Rambus' computer-memory patents."
