Perhaps I was too charitable. If I said you were not lying, it is not because what you said was true, it was because I was willing to attribute the untruth to incomplete information, rather than malice. There was less bile involved than temper; hurt was given on all sides, and I'm not sure you're the right person to criticize others for harsh words given in the heat of argument. We have all hurt friends, and we have all been hurt by friends. Sometimes the friendships recover, sometimes they do not. Sometimes we look back on those hurts and cry, sometimes we look back on the same hurts and laugh. A lot depends on our state of mind at a given moment. But it is not our place to judge, and it is not our place to comment publicly on matters we promised to keep private. My last comment on the subject.
