Scumbria, <I said that investors view SDRAM/DDR licenses as more valuable than DRDRAM licenses.>

Definitely the SDRAM licenses have a ton of value. It's the current king of the DRAM industry.

However, here's what you said originally:

<This is more evidence that that the investment community believes DDR to be a superior solution.>

There was no clear leader in the DDR vs. RDRAM war before the new license agreements. If anything, it was going to be a brutal war, which made Rambus' prospects uncertain and risky as best. But now with the new license agreements, the uncertainly and risk has been removed. That's the REAL reason why RMBS stock has doubled in the past week.

Now obviously investors believed DDR to be at least as viable of a solution as RDRAM, or else RMBS stock wouldn't have jumped as high as it did over the past week. That I'll give you. But you make a clear leap in logic when you say that investors have already chosen a winner in the DDR vs. RDRAM war. I don't see any definitive proof to that assertion.
