Thanks LG,

I have done my homework on options. The hedge ratio is low because of the size of long position. I do not want to risk more cash on the hedge. In this instance, I am not trying to earn time decay but rather limit my paper losses on a market downturn. And, I do not want to sell options against my position and limit my upside potential.
