Yep! Nokia's "down on their knees"

. . . . to the mighty Q, baby!

It would surprise me if the rumors today of a buyout are on target. But one thing for sure, Nokia's CDMA situation in this country reeks. Did I say reeks? R-E-E-K-S. That's "reeks." You want bold? REEKS!

Who exactly is dealing from a position of strength? Qualcomm or Nokia? Don't confuse corporate power with the "moving averages" of a stock. Qualcomm is a force with which to be reckoned.

I remember Bobby Joe Fuller's "I Fought the Law and the Law Won." Nokia fought the mighty Q and the mighty Q is getting ready to dictate the terms of the peace settlement. Nokia desparately needs the chips and Qualcomm has become more interested in itss far-reaching technological advances. We have a symbiotic relationship developing. Qualcomm may simply become a full-fledged think tank and licensing monster.

Tomorrow should bring serious clarity.

Just porchin' (and enjoying the view),
John
