At least the Portland decision makes things a little more interesting.

We have always known that Portland was a non-issue. I think the market knows that too. Heck- I bet most people didnt even remember that the issue existed anymore.

ATHM is consolidating after its massive plunge. I have no clue which way it will break out of its consolidation. Price to sales is still a bit hefty at 15 and earnings are negative. Who cares about the fact that they are tripling subscriber count every year?

I recently saw a cartoon drawn in memorium to Charles Schultz. In it Charlie Brown was standing on a cloud and an angel was holding a football for him to kick. She said "We are not allowed to pull it away Charlie Brown".

So I guess Charlie Brown finally got to kick the ball. Who knows, maybe someday we will too.

Eric

<I wonder if he will get to first before the ball reaches there.>

I don't get it. Am I missing something negative that happened today?

Nasdaq down 3.13%, Dow down 1.16%, $SPX down 1.82%,

Charley Brown inside the park home run on a down day, ATHM up 10.2%.

THINK in percent gain or loss not points.

Hi Ed,

Speaking of good grief...I thought good ole Charlie Brown (ATHM) got a base hit today with the Portland decision. Unfortunately, ole Charlie trotted down to third instead of first. Can't you just see the rest of his team screaming at him to go the other direction? I wonder if he will get to first before the ball reaches there. Good grief.

Here, in CT, we have interesting winters. Some are not snowy, some are. Some are rainy some are not. Some are icy some are not. Some are cold and some are not. Most are a combination of these and so it goes.

We are clearing a lot of snow out of the way, plowing the road for eventual heavy lifting to travel down the highway. It has been treacherous out here on Wall Street, USA.

I kindda get a little mushhy and think of a scene like the end of the movie Independence Day. That rousing speech. We getting our asses kicked all over the planet, and it was our planet to boot. Lots of good guys getting wiped out. And near the end, when all looked lost, the drunkin old barnstormer comes along and saves the day...cause he was always more then what people thought, he had seen the elephant and lived. ATHM is more then the street thinks as you know. Soon their attack ships will weaken and fail. They have done their job for now and provoked us to excel and clean our own house.

I for one hope you hold the other half of your shares.

Kudos on your head nod to Ah. He is a very kewl Dude. As are you.

Tight lines good buddy.
