I would also add that there's a lot of "pent-up sales pressure" from people who got into this one early on, before the market fun and games of March and April, and who haven't been able to sell their MVC shares through it all, since there wasn't a market for them. Given this, I would not at all be surprised with an open well below NAV (17-18?) as those folks unload at the earliest possible opportunity - followed by a modest recovery in the ensuing weeks. Hope I'm dead wrong, but...

1) I don't think the mission of this fund is to invest in optical or networking opportunities.

2) Do they not meet the ipo sniff test because of what they do or thier finances/revenues? If they were ipo material NOW they would be having ipos, not mezzanine financing.
