Citrix Founder Out in Management Shake-Up

Jun 23 9:40am ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Citrix Systems Inc. (CTXS.O), a maker of network software, on Friday
said founder and Chairman Edward Iacobucci had resigned as part of a management
shake-up following the company's recent profit warning and a sharp drop in the value of its
shares.

In a statement, the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based company named former Chief Executive
Roger Roberts to the position of chairman and has started a search for a new CEO to
replace Mark Templeton, who will remain with the company as president.

During its search for Templeton's successor, the company said Roberts, who served as its
chief executive from 1990 to 1998, will serve as interim CEO. The company also said board
member Michael Brown had resigned as a director but will continue to be available on
selected matters.

On June 12, shares of Citrix fell over 45 percent when the company warned that
second-quarter earnings would be half of what Wall Street was forecasting. Shares closed
on Thursday at 22-3/4 on the Nasdaq, well below a 52-week high of 122-5/16.

Since then, more than a dozen shareholder lawsuits have been filed against Citrix and Citrix
management, charging the company with lying about its financial condition and growth
potential.
