ZEITGEIST= the general intellectual, moral, and cultural
state of an era.

Etymology: German, from zeit "time" + geist "spirit"

....or more simply "The Spirit of the Times"

or even "The Tenor of the Times"

The NASD did complete a 50% retracement of It's entire decline from May 10th to May 24th.
