The information technology company said it now expects a "mid single-digit percentage decline in full-year 2000 revenue and earnings per share, excluding the second-quarter charge," compared with 1999 results. A First Call/Thomson Financial survey of 10 analysts produced a mean earnings estimate of $1.78 a share for the company's fiscal 2000. For the year ended Dec. 31, 1999, Unisys reported net income of $510.7 million, or $1.59 a diluted share, including items. Excluding items, the company earned $1.56 a share.
