The companies licensed to produce CDMA ASICS in some form or fashion are QCOM (of course), LSI, Prariecomm, and Intel(DSP). VLSI used to have a license, but I haven't seen any news that PHG was able to renegotiate the license after they bought the company. Also, MOT and NOK can make ASICS, but on a cost basis they are basically for their own use, and not a third party source for other handset vendors.
