To be honest, I am not sure why anyone who wanted to go long MIPS over the last month didn't just buy SGI. They could have gotten quite a deal.

I went long SGI a little early, but the MIPS distribution went a long way to getting me even. In fact, at the moment, I am more confident in my MIPSB long position than I am SGI, although SGI still has those LNUX shares waiting. At my last calculation, they were worth almost $0.30/share, which at SGI's current price is about 10% of the current value.
