Cap't, toshiba and hitachi don't seem to think rmbs claims to sdram are "minimal" rocky ps . ain't a straddle sort of like kissing your own sister? Hitachi has made it quite clear that they disagree with Rambus claims. They have not made any statement to the contrary. Nevertheless, they were caught in a difficult legal play, and took a pragmatic decision. Straddles can be very lucrative. I made 500% in two weeks on a June RMBS straddle. Scumbria
