yeah ! i saw a short film called the Abilene Paradox about what you've mentioned. no one wants to say boo in a company, they are afraid to... there is a great book called Unholy Babylon about Sadaam and Kuwait and the history of Iraq. there is a joke in the book about the period just before the gulf war, Sadaam asked his ministers the probability they could take the various states in the region...they of course agreed it would take hours to a couple of days for each one, and this pleased Sadaam. When they got to the United Arab Emirates, the ministers assured Sadaam : 'that one, sir, you can take by sending a fax'
