The only thing I can think of that makes any sense: 1) Mary is given super hype (more than AG sometimes). 2) She says AMZN is going to report way lower. 3) Everybody translates that into slower net traffic. 4) Lower net traffic = lower demand & less money available. 5) So everybody sells off anything connected to the net. Nobody seems to calculate the innumerable times Mary is either dead wrong, creates a whish fulfilling prophecy with the aid of CNBC et al, or announces something bad after it has already happened (like the sell off earlier this year - she completely missed it and then warned after it happened).
