Petz, <relevant Rambus patent(s)>
There are many, but actually only few or relevance.
Most of them are "continuations" of the previous ones,
with improvements they learn in the course of
bringing the product up. It looks like the one
under the question is US 5,319,755, claim 23:

patents.ibm.com

(see also
Message 13916617 )

Also, some morons assembled the following site
dramreview.com
It is full of nonsense, and where I got the silly
example about clocks.

Regards,
- Ali

Petz, Carl (Bilow) has of course been following this closely, here's a message of his which refers to the apparent oldest patent. Message 13916617

I think if you go through his old posts on the subject, you'll find many other links, but SI's lame search engine won't pick up www.patents.ibm.com.

Cheers, Dan.
