Sami and engineer: You both make excellent points. Nokia has cleverly dipped its toes in the Q pool without being perceived as giving in to Q's hard-nosed demands. Should market conditions justify doing so, it can deal with the Q directly.

Samim,

Nokia can make CDMA phones in China if they want to do it cheap with its own know-how. China is Nokia's GSM land right now. Instead Nokia choose Korea's Telson and target Korea market.
