You're right Bonnie. We are all truly blessed!

I don't feel like watching this Naz crap any more, so I am heading out to the lake for the weekend. I hope the Naz comes roaring back today after I am gone.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Ritch

Hi Bon,

Loved your post.

Want something Angelic -

I grew up in Meridian Mississippi.

Could it have been my Angel you saw on the curb?

Selah,

Love ya,

Volts

Bonnie!!

I was in tears over Volt's description. I was not there in 3D form! Surely, I was there in spirit. So I probably would have been a babblin' brook with my friends saying "from a thread on the internet???" causes this kind of impact and I smile recalling yet another "you had to be there moment".

Clappy, Look at what you and I and all the other porchlanders have in store. Yipee what a time there will be!

Daisies to you all

Syn

hey bonny, you're awesome. keepup the good deeds. volts has many deed stories to tell us here @ the porch. years ago i learned the more you give the greater you receive. today @ noon i met with a client who is involved with a camp helping autistic kids.wants me to find him 50 acres in the georgia hills for this program. okay, i went to visit his camp today to see if it was for real. it is! the volunteers, day campers, staff have a cool program. yes, you say we are blessed. i agree. and was so moved watching these teenage kids who can barely talk, only draw as well as my 3 yr old that kim and i wrote the camp a check for several thousand $.
bonny i tell you this not to boast yet to say i have experienced many times before when we do this "givin' thang" it comes back several times more in other ways to help us in return. you're awesome.

Morning BIA:

I read your post with great interest. Having been (and still continue) to involve myself with programs that feed the poor, elderly and shut in's, I have found it to be one hell of a reality check to actually go out and make deliveries myself in some of the worst "bombed out" Ghetto areas on New York. I took a video camera with me one year to capture the neighborhoods and people that we delivered to. It was heart warming, joyous and sad to see and be with these people that humanity had seemed to have forgotten. During the early spring meltdown, I had to hold on to those thoughts which gave me some bearings on life itself. I would recomend that everyone on the thread take some time to see this first hand.

If for nothing else, you can always swap some nearly worthless options for some food stamps...
