Paul-re: shorting rationale The anomaly of shorting is that if there are shares to borrow that usually means that the smart money have not moved in to short the stock thinking it still have room to grow. On the other hand when the smart money thinks the stock will erode, all the available shares have been borrowed leaving none to the individual investors. Great info, Paul. Thanks much ;-).
