QCHARTS won't run on a Mac...go order yourself a Dell,,, excellent quality and great tech support.. Richard (edit) and you might consider getting rid of AOL and going with Mindspring or Earthlink...

OT ~ Lee, unless you can isolate exactly where your problems are coming from, i.e., computer, os, browser, data feed, isp, or broker feed, you could make some costly and unnecessary changes. Unfortunately, accomplishing same is often achieved only by developing a 6th sense through experience with your equipment. I'm with Richard. If aol is NOT contributing to your distress, then it's only a matter of time... Rick

Hi Lee, I just got back from a few days away and saw your message. Although I love my mac G4 for graphics - they are USELESS for trading right now. In fact, that is why I bought a Dell last year. Qcharts, Metastock, BigEasy, DLJ Marketspeed software, Cybercorp and any of the streaming tickers and gizmos you can download - NONE work on the mac platform. Metastock and Qcharts are working on a version I believe, but who knows when. There is not enough demand...also macs are far more expensive than windows pcs. Also, The Internet Explorer browser on the mac is much, much slower and Netscape is even worse. Even tech support is easier/better on a windows machine. Get a Dell, laptop or desktop, you will love it. I never thought I would being such a mac fan, I've been on the mac since 1989. Now I'm a Dell woman : )
