Book to bill numbers said it all?

First quarter 1.3:1; second quarter 1.4:1. That means third quarter will be $140 million or so. Bruce thinks he has broken the breakeven point barrier of variable costs; so that profits will be exponential. My advise is continue to expand with the technology shift in deep submicron technology, invest the profits in depreciatable assets. Dispose off the treasury stocks on the open market. Invest in efficiency, as well as advanced equipment for embedded technology which will generate much more revenue in the future.

We, the stockholders, are not interest in immediate profits just to drive the stock value up temporarily. The program of being a power house in the semiconductor distribution business has just begun. I have worked in the semiconductor business for 30 years, and I have never saw any opportunity such as what is before us.

Solomon, Smith Barney as usual had a one day story. It is short sighted, because they believed in Greenspan's tightening of interest rate and did not consider the future semiconductor applications which are just opening up. The profits will drive the hardware business, not the software business at this time. Software will be thin client oriented software mostly. A technology shift is again being worked out. It is still communications but servers, thin clients and PDAs are going to sell like hot cakes.

Good luck, management. Large good business is still in the lobbies of the largest corporations. More focus on applications of semiconductors will give us the stock value.
