That is the way of the world, everything is obvious in hindsight. I remember learning about the Great Depression in my youth and it seemed that the excesses of the late 20's were so obvious. Already you can read James Cramer, an original internet pollyanna, writing about the inevitability of the demise of the profitless dotcoms. Human beings are a remarkably predictable lot, pathetic and endearing at the same time.
