Flawed as they are, courts are all we have to establish the truth in criminal cases.

In the plus side, DNA testing and other technological advances have made that job easier.

On the minus side, the spectacle of the President of the United States lying under oath in front of a judge and getting a minor hand slap has made that job harder.
