Remember "The Thin Blue Line", brees? It's not real hard for a determined prosecutor to make a case that will hold up against an overworked public defender. The state's got a lot of levers to pull. Of course, that only holds in places like Illinois. In Texas, the system works much better, and innocent people are never, ever prosecuted. If they're suspects, they must be guilty- somebody said that once, I think. Cheers, Dan, incongruously speaking.
