I don't consider myself a goldbug, because my definition of a goldbug is someone who thinks of gold as hard monetary asset who wants to hold bullion or gold stocks for the long-term. ( the end of the world, collapse of the world economy, intrinsic value, it's a conspiracy, gold will hit $1000 crowd )

I think of gold as a currency/commodity, and tend to hold gold stocks for the short-term. I don't mess with gold bullion. I'm not in love with my gold stocks and am more than happy to sell them for a profit. ( I'm a member of the gold is worth what someone else is willing to sell it for crowd - aka $US282.70 )
