Lee: go with DELL -- I am a very satisfied customer of DELL.
They sent a technician to my house to replace the motherboard at NO CHARGE on my laptop. Even after three months later I bought the port replicator and there is a hardware conflict that need to replace the mother board.
A good test is for you call the tech support at 2:00 AM they are there to answer you ... after 10 mns wait... but they are very good persons who can tell me to do various things on my PC to troubleshoot before they send out the technician the next business day. Note: I do not trade DELL at all.
