Hi,SI Bob:

Well,we have had great luck with ours.
We have Ryobi model 990r brushcutter which we
modify the engine from 33mm(1.26)bore to 35mm.
Port and polish the intake and outake manifold, plus add a larger jet-system for the
carb.

Now that brought our RPM up to about 11000 to 12500 from
the standard of 7500 and wow does it fly (have to wear weights on my legs) to keep
from flying await.

Here is what we have add:

Blower/Vacuum-standard

Hedge Trimmer- blew out the ring and pinion gears this last
week end(bummer)

Tree Pruner- cuts great but strip the cable on it,I think
too big of trees and using the extra extention.

Straight Shaft Trimmer-made it from a two hole to a four
hole and took the bottom bottem off for quick-change.
Also making a spool with bicycle chains, should be hot.

Cultivator-now this is hot I can even right and wow does
it dig and dig and dig.

Well, back to the gardens got roses come out all over.

This is way off-topic, but I consider this thread a kind of "home" for me and wanted to post this "somewhere".

The kitten we got my daughter for her birthday died last night of injuries inflicted by either another cat or a black snake. We found her on the kitchen floor this morning. The vet couldn't find anything obvious yesterday but a small puncture wound. I was upset (and told him so) that he focused too much on a parasitic cause when I kept telling him she'd gotten into a scrap with something on Saturday and bolted for the house, and in obvious pain from that moment on. However, even if he'd diagnosed it as an internal injury, it's unlikely he could've helped her.

I was finally getting close to some semblance of emotional normalcy when this happened. Please don't send any condolences. I'm feeling enough sorry for myself as it is, and am still very swamped. I already know (and very much appreciate) the support that's out there.

Today is even a stunning day for me in the market, with my largest holding up about 13% in the first half hour, for a deep 5-digit gain, but I can't even get excited about it. There are too many other things that matter more.

I hope we all treasure all of our friendships whether they're 3D or 2D, and whether with humans or our pets.

PS. The mess visible in those pictures is because of the ever-present construction. Perpetual drywall debris all over the place.

PPS. Next track time in 3 1/2 weeks, with the local BMW club. About time. I'm in *serious* need of some track time.

PPPS. [hours-later edit] At my daughter's request, I made a quick-n-dirty page at her domain (hosted by Hypermart, of course!) for Peanut. She'll make changes to it later as she learns HTML. Wonder if I can get her to use a text editor, the way her old man does. :)
