It is precisely your business because you are an American citizen (I assume) and you are governed by federal laws with death penalties and you either believe the State has the power to subjugate the rights of individuals to its will (like King George of England circa late 1700s) or the individual is supreme to the state and the right of the State to exist is to serve the individual (Declaration of Independence, 1776).

Precisely. The peculiar defects of Illinois have nothing to do with the other 49 states.
