Very true.

An interesting thing is going to happen to that chart in the next few weeks. As we get 50 trading days away from the crash of mid-April (we are about there now I think), we will get a few days where the natural tendency of the average will be to decline as older higher numbers get replaced by current ones. Unless, of course, we rally into the 4200-4500 range.

That alone may mean that a rally in imminent. During this sustained Naz run, that has tended to happen, and caused the bounce I was referring to. But it is surely a less precise way to identify the timing of a short term move. On that we agree completely.
