AT MSDW my post-split shares showed up in my account today. I don't suppose I can bill the TSE for the margin interest I incurred the last few months? Perhaps a class-action suit would motivate them to upgrade their systems to the 20th er make that the 21st Century. I spoke to a friend today that told me Divine Interventures (the OTHER Internet Zaibatsu) is on the rocks. Apparently valuations are suffering, and follow-on financing is not forthcoming for their incubatee companies. I see there is a whole shakeout going on in the UK right now with the incubators running afoul of the gov't, not to mention lack of operating experience. You're right, when the smoke clears, things should be OK. I can imagine there are more than a few Japanese who had to visit Takefuji or Yen shop and pay the loan sharks' exhorbitant 27%+ rates with the Nikkei selloff to cover their losses. Their wives may now have access to the 9984 shares, so as soon as Monday, they'll be selling...
