To all: OK, now I got to tell my funny experience. When I married my wife she had NEVER driven a car in her life. After a disasterous experience with the Sears Driving School I decided to teach her myself. It was tough in the beginning as she didnt seem to understand the difference between the gas pedal and the brake pedal. Anyhow, eventually I got her to where she was driving pretty decently. So one afternoon I said, "pull into the Farm Store, I need to get a pack of Cigarettes". Well she did JUST THAT. Hit the side of the building, paniced and HIT THE GAS. You know all those dougnuts and things they stack outside? We obliterated them all and left a nasty gash along the side of the building. Scared the hell out of everyone. Anyhow, I finally got the car stopped and the proprietor called the Cops. I told him not to worry I would take care of everything, meanwhile my wife needed to use the bathroom, while she was in there a policeman arrived. I told him, please dont holler at her, she is very scared and this experience may make it impossible for me to get her back into driving. So, when she came out the Cop apologized for the building BEING IN HER WAY. haha. JDN
