Would you say that TrimTabs is a reliable service? trimtabs.com If so, what they are documenting statistically seems to support exactly what some of us on this thread believe about the condition of the markets. The reason I ask is just that I was once subjected to some pretty rough scoffing after making refernce to AMG Data and TrimTabs figures. I don't know if I mentioned that when I finally did my income taxes (after taking the automatic extension) I was astonished to find myself paying a good bit more than I expected on account of having made money trading puts. If I had been right instead of wrong I would have made ten times as much, but in fact I boosted the household income by about 15%. I had been under the impression that I was losing money on the whole because I kept transferring the profits into what was then a steadily degrading short position in XLK, but as XLK came down I got the money back (at least for the time being). Maybe I should take up playing the horses so as to be sure to lose money.
