Stephen: Larry is our savior - if I read one more article about Dow Theory, Irrational Excerance.....

It sells books - fear makes money. Schiller even stated that the book will make him rich (and make up for all the money he lost not being in the market as a bear!)

Stay the course - the ACCL, SONS, BKHM, MTWV's of the world will continue to come public. Not only is the internet changing our world but technology related to genomics our future health. Were is this discussed in all these outdated models!

Keep up the great work, stay positive and we will all continue to reap the benefits of this fantanstic economy and talented human endevour in the greatest country on earth.

Let us all celebrate it and remember on the 4th of July next week.

Stephen - Thank you for this interesting post. It was a good corrective to all the publicity Krugman gets, now that he writes for the NY Times twice a week. I went to MIT (class of '54), but MIT's big economist then was Samuleson, and he confined his popular writing to textbooks.
On another topic: do mutual funds have symbols like stocks, so that a person can use AskResearch charts to look at them? Thanks.
