SSP, <<KM>> I have been seeing more and more speculation on the potential of Kmart (KM) being bought out. This post is typical: ragingbull.com . That post references Fortune Magazine, something that I haven't checked out. However, there does seem to be smoke and I have held stock of retailers that were bought out before. The signals of those are the same for KM, poor performance, low stock price, high book value, and a very unhappy shareholder base. The new CEO has worked golden parachutes before. This is all conjecture, but there may be enough merit in this speculation for KM inclusion on your Goldenlists. Your analysis would be appreciated.
