The paradoxical effect is a part of life, it cannot be avoided... the more one avoids, the more one is confronted... this is the paradox itself...<g> go figure.....

i see it as similar to the "badmouthing effect" which says when going good remain silent or to speak it will commence the "badmouthing effect",which will turn the good to reverse.Perhaps we are then activating some paradoxical law in the uncertainty principle? but like GZ just said,i don't know what i just said:) paxmax p.s.it goes way back to the "don't jinx it" principle,ah,i think we are falling into the abyss,superstition,perhaps?
