You did not ask me but possibly Curry can't total a portfolio????

Maybe this is similar to the comment that the book business is profitable now even though revenue in that devision is falling. I can't figure that one out either.

Besides the obvious reason that Curry isn't all that good at "cypherin'" could he be counting all the money that these companies are supposed to pay AMZN over the next few years to be featured on the website. If I remember right, and Glenn could probably help us out here, these companies were in reality going to give AMZN back over a 3 - 5 year period all the money AMZN gave them up front for the stock. Curry could be counting all of those potential payments as showing a gain on their investment although the likelihood of those companies making the required payments is not assured and is not very likely imo. But I still don't see how this turns into a 50% gain.
