Fava Beans ~ Fresh fava beans...Anyone have a favorite recipe? That dumb SOAR veggie-recipe database is overloaded. Stupid vegetarians. A lady we know is using fava beans for a cover-crop, or something. Because we keep getting grocery bags of fava beans. We tried a fava-fennel salad, but it was a bit of a waste of both. Well, not really, but I didn't get excited. I mean, I like my fennel for fennel supremes. I as studying Roman History once? I forget where or why. And I learned that the Romans used to put fennel leaves in the bottom of pans they baked their bread on, imparting the flavor. BFD is what I thot too.
