Tulvio, as you probably know, Fleckenstein has been trying to dump the big high techs for years, while their stocks double every year or 2.

Fleckenstein has been a bear on the market ever since I can remember. He has been bearish since the early eighties at least. He has been fairly quiet up until recently surfacing with the selloff in the markets. He works the short side of the markets which is fine.
What is more amazing to me is how Fleckenstein has survived being on the wrong side of the market for the past almost 20 years. I fail to see how anyone who has been a bear for that long could possibly have been successful in the financial markets.
The dotcoms are similar to the new restaurant that opens near your home. They are busy immediately when everyone tries them out then the real work of staying in business occurs. Some won't make it just like some investment advisors don't make it. That's life in the real business world.
