Mac: One of the most basic scan is cross over a MA in an upward move. However, It's more effective if we use two MAs, a short term and an intermediate term. A typical short term MA is 10 day. A typical intermediate term is 40 days. We want the stock price above 10 day MA, but lower than the 40 day MA. In TC2000 programming language, the PCF is (C > AvgC10) and (C < AvgC40) Note that 1. TC2000 is not case sensitive. 2. TC2000 ignores all white spaces. Julius
