Zeev, re: "Clean room"
Here's an example of what I think Barrett may have been alluding to (per The Rigister article).

AUSTIN, Texas -- A new alternative will hit the Pentium-compatible
microprocessor market May 20, when stealth startup Centaur Technology
announces its X86 CPU.......

Centaur and IDT declined comment on the new part. But according to
industry insiders, the new chip is a ground-up clean-room design........

eetimes.com

Is it implied from this article that the "ground-up clean-room design" is non infringing?

If so the question for me is, if you take your own existing IP and create a new solution in a "clean room", is the new solution your IP also?

TIA
