Yes, B., a stop limit to protect the downside. My broker lets me, but now that you mention it, seems I have heard of others having the problem you mentioned. Good luck. RR

Bowledover, I had the same problem with trying to place stops. Reading my broker info I noticed at least this broker only allows stops on a "day order" basis on options. Means I've got to place a stop every day which probably isn't all bad. i.e. not possible to use GTC stops. Haven't tried it yet but may be the same on my NAZ stocks cause I couldn't get that to work either. Worth a try. Anybody else have this problem? Dealer, V, and other porchies, thanks for the warm welcome. Can't tell you folks how much it's meant to me. I'm no different than most of you. Got caught in the "deer in the headlights" in March/April too. And my "gut" as RR calls it told me it was time to get out. I just didn't listen. I had reached one of my goals with one of my accounts and was so thrilled I printed it out to show my wife, "look what I've done"! Investing is like golf, one minute you think you're hot $hit and the next hole the wheels come off. Depy, I'm over here servin' your country so you guys can do the things you like to do. Actually, semi-retired and took advantage of the opportunity to show my teenagers some of the world and revisit things I didn't appreciate or have money to do when I was here as a dentist in the Army in Mid-70s. Know you guys feel alot safer knowin' a porchie is here to protect you. Yep, got my pliers and braces in hand ready to wire them mouths shut case we get captured and anybody wants to talk to da enemy. Appreciate all the love and support even though I was hidin' in that trash barrel. Gotta go do my homework cause I know RR be checkin' up. There are some bulls out here!! From the front, 2020
