JDN,

While reading Gidget's post, I could not help but think of Tim the Tool Man Taylor. LOL.

I like the idea of a tool with all those accessories though.

I'll look for the Ryobi website.

Later.

Have fun,
Phil

JDN,

I found the Ryobi website.

ryobi.com

I could not find the 990 tool.

It appears the replacement is the TrimmerPlus:

ryobi.com

I found the operators manual for the 990r. It looks a lot like my ECHO trimmer, but I have no attachments for mine other than various blades in place of the string trimmer.

I have a blade with about twelve chain saw teeth on it that is truly awesome. I definitely use it with respect. I believe it would cut off a dogs leg in a split second.

I wonder if those accessories would fit on my ECHO. HMMM.

I feel Tim the Tool Man calling.

Have fun,
Phil
