<Thank you DAK. Your points are what I have been wanting. >

Asking straightforwardly is the best way to get the desired response in most cases I've found.

< But, has a new paradigm been established. (future performance rather than present performance?)>

IMO opinion this is not new... present value of future cash flows has been the paradigm for decades if not longer. I do agree that currently the market is being more liberal with projections of future earnings, and in many cases just saying 'this will be huge someday' and taking the stocks up. IMO this will lead to wild fluctuations depending apon the view of the market at the moment.

<To state the market is heading straight to hell seems drastic. >

I said straight down, it's my opinion... we differ there and here:

<I would not want to be short in this market (overall) for the next several years. >

<I have searched your posts but I cannot go back but so far. (If you know a way please let me know.)>

Ask SI... I have no idea.... I used to spend most of my time on the biotech boards when they were 'value stocks'... poke around over there if you really care.... they go back to the beginning I believe.

<I buy what I know.>

You should do well then.

<Despite the Southern Comfort remark!>

If you re-read all your posts to me and my answers, I believe you come out on the short end of the 'nice' stick.

Good luck,

DAK
