Thanks Rick, I have followed your rules 2 to 4 ( get off margin ), and making sure that I follow rule 1, do not hold onto a position and ride it into the dirt. I am following a process to cut stock losses at 8 to 10% loss and 20% for options, although for CREE or other volatile ones, it might be 30%.

Rick, I am also considering selling some of my JDU CDN ( tax shelter ) shares and buying the Nov. 140s and doing the same for NT CDN shares ( Dec. 85s ). I will also sell some CDN NT shares outside of the tax shelter to buy some more NT Dec 85 CDN options. These shares have about 85% capital gain in them, however if the Dec. 85s are selling for ~ $20 and the stock is $97, then I certainly have more leverage and can pay for the tax, since I have to pay for the tax sometime.

Rick, what are thoughts on JDSU phase IV? I talked to someone last night who is a long time holder of JDS and he thinks that it is Wireless? Why are you concerned with 4th week JdSU earning results and August ? Finally your thoughts on JDSU / ETEK with a market cap of $130 Billion and sales of only $1.5 Billion this year. Yes they will double the sales, but almost 100 P/S versus normally P/S of 20 to 25?

TIA,

David

PS: Still looking at CREE Sept 120s and 130s, but will wait until I get all my NT and JDU ( CDN ) fills
