You may be right, but the problem I have with your point is that everyone is saying pretty much the same thing... I think what we have here is the ol' buy the rumor, sell the news scenario... I think even if the Feds do nothing this time around, it has already been priced into the markets... I think we're going lower... just remember, the higher cost of energy has not yet had an impact on economic indicators as yet... in another month or so, the higher price of energy will begin to reflect in the numbers being released and there will probably be another round of gossip about how inflation might still be just around the corner... I believe the equity markets are looking ahead to that very possibility and will move lower until they do raise rates once again... once they raise rates again, sometime in August to October, there we'll find the bottom.....IMHO

Agreed. The news is news no matter what. Weak volume decline is seeking an anchor to go up.
