Elmer--

I would suggest you tone down the arrogance a bit: your posts on AMD from May and June of last year don't sound very clever anymore. I don't think scalability of Willamette is being disputed, but volume availability (> 100s of ks) for 2000 remains a question mark. What is going to fill the gap between 1.13 GHz Coppermines and 1.3 GHz Willamettes is also up in the air.

Elmer - Re: "There's a crazy old man on the AMD thread who claims Willamette will perform like a 550MHz Celeron."

All the AMDroids want to believe this.

When Willamette is released, we're going to hear no end of the AthWiper becoming - VERY RAPIDLY - the Price-Performance leader - as the PRICE comes tumbling down.
